The standard kitchen slab width is 25 inches which for some brands may mean up to 25 1 5 inches.

Typically a bar top that is a minimum of 18 inches deep works well but you can extend this to 20 to 24 inches to allow more space for larger sinks and fixtures. Commercial bar tops vary from 20 to 28 inches in width including a drink rail or trough on the server side of the bar.
A few off the shelf standard countertop lengths exist as well such as 4 6 8 and 10 feet. The minimum bar top thickness is 1 3 4 inches utilizing a flat grain wood.
